Ivo Chairman Meet Governor Aide, Resolves issues bordering Amonye Community
The meeting witnessed presence of major stakeholders and Chiefs of Amonye Community, SA to the governor on internal security, Hon. Ike cletus Ngah, Ivo Council Chairman, Hon. Chief Ajah Emmanual Ogbonnaya (Confirm), Electoral Committee Chairman, Hon. Elijah Okechukwu orji, members of peace Committee on Ishiagu matters, Commissioner of Police, Ebonyi State ably represented by the divisional Police Officer (DPO) Ivo LGA, Head of Department of State Service (DSS)ivo LGA, Head of Nigeria Immigration Service Ivo LGA, and Other conventional security agencies.
After careful deliberation from both groups on issues bordering Amonye Community, Greenfield Nig Ltd, and mining companies bidding for operations , the following salient resolutions was made:
- That Ishiagu considered peaceful co-existence as paramount and operate in ambience of peace to achieve it cause and any instigator of crisis must face the law Squarely.

That Mr. Henry(CEO Greenfield Nig. Ltd) should have agreement with the landlord and Amonye Community to survey out own area of lead mining operations and must accommodate other mining companies as license documents to mines does not cover the whole of Amonye Community.

That Amonye Stalkholders and Chiefs should be judicious and eye economy growth and development while handling investors, as no right thinking Community bestowed with mineral resources would chase away it investors.

Mineral resources is embedded and bestowed by God in any Community and can be wipe out by God should it invoke crisis, therefore, Amonye Community should utilise this opportunity in harmony than encouraging disputes.
The executive Chairman admonished all Stalkholders to work in synergy in actualising this gifted opportunity and shun personal interests.
