IPoB raises alarm over deteriorating health of Nnamdi Kanu
The Indigenous People of Biafra (IPoB) has raised concerns about the deteriorating health of its leader, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, and called for his immediate release from detention to avoid severe consequences.
In a statement by its Media and Publicity Secretary, Emma Powerful, IPoB alleged that the Nigerian government, judiciary, DSS operatives, and some Igbo politicians are plotting to eliminate Kanu.
The statement warned that Nigeria and those behind his detention would face dire consequences if anything happened to Kanu while in custody.
IPoB reiterated its demand for Kanu’s release, citing court orders and his deteriorating health condition. The group also called on the international community and human rights organizations to intervene and secure Kanu’s release.
Kanu’s continued detention, despite court declarations of its illegality, has sparked concerns about his health and well-being. IPoB assured that the struggle for Biafran self-determination would continue unabated, despite Kanu’s detention.
