Inter-state Cooperation – Osun Governor’s Aide, Hon. Oyebade, Gov. Aiyedatiwa’s Aide, Hon. Wellington Adebawo Advance Collaboration, Visits Ministry Of Works
The Special Assistant to Osun State Governor on Emergency and Safety, Hon. Henry Deji Oyebade, continued his visitation to Ondo State on Thursday, November 28, as part of efforts to strengthen emergency response ties between the two states. He was joined by his Ondo State counterpart, Hon. Oriade Wellington Adebawo.
The duo visited the Ondo State Ministry of Works, Infrastructure, Lands, and Housing, where they were received by the Special Adviser to the Governor on Infrastructure, Lands, and Housing, Pastor Babalola Joseph Ayoade. The meeting provided a platform for the visitors to explore areas of collaboration with the ministry.
Pastor Ayoade, in his remarks, encouraged Hon. Oyebade and his team not to hesitate to reach out whenever they identify areas of potential collaboration with the ministry. He also charged Hon. Adebawo to ensure that the ministry is carried along in any emergency response efforts that may require their input.
The Permanent Secretary of the ministry took the opportunity to express gratitude to Hon. Adebawo for his excellent disposition since assuming office as the Special Assistant to the Ondo State Governor on Emergency Response. This gesture was seen as a testament to the strong working relationship between Hon. Adebawo and the ministry.
The meeting was also attended by Mr. Bimbo Aladetan, an official of the Lagos State Safety Agency, who traveled to Akure at the invitation of Hon. Adebawo. This underscores the commitment of Hon. Adebawo to fostering collaboration and knowledge-sharing among emergency response stakeholders across different states.
As a symbol of appreciation and solidarity, Pastor Ayoade, on behalf of the Ondo State Governor, His Excellency Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, presented gifts to Hon. Oyebade and Mr. Aladetan. This gesture was warmly received by the visitors and serves as a testament to the hospitality and cooperation that defines the relationship between Ondo State and its visitors.
