Imo State is Now the Destination Center of event for Federal Government of Nigeria- Perry Opara.
As political campaigns across the country commence, the Special Advicer to the Governor of Imo on Market and Allied Matters, High Chief Perry Opara, has described Imo state, to be a destination center for national event for Federal government of Nigeria.
He made this assertion while addressing the leaders of APC support groups resident in Imo state and South East at the Ahianjoku convention center, new Owerri Imo state, within the week.
According to him, the reason to organize the support groups, is that the governor of Imo state, is working very hard to get Imo state integrated into the national projects of the federal government. As support groups, we must work very hard to help our party win the upcoming election for the betterment of people and more integration.
He seized the opportunity to appealed with politicians in Imo State and the nation at large, to ensure that as they canvass for support, their messages should be issue-based devoid of bitterness.
Opara, who doubles as a member of TINUBU/SHETTIMA Presidential Campaign Council and Directorate of Support Groups Coordination South East Zone, further urged politicians to watch their utterances, while ensuring they don’t overheat the polity as they go about their campaigns.
He also adviced citizens not to join issues unnecessarily, while stressing that campaign is not for war, but the ability to churn out ideas and beautify it, to make it to look more superior than another.
“Forthcoming election, the outcome, will have good impacts, on the lives of young population” he concluded.
