The Imo state Governor, Senator Hope Uzodinma has decried the level of administrative decay in Imo state by previous government as he promised to Improve the state better than he met it, through his rehabilitation, reconstruction and recovery policy .
Uzodimma, made this assertion during his inspection tour at some project sites around the state.
While speaking with Newsmen in Owerri, Imo Governor, assured Imolites of quality leadership and good governance better than his predecessors.
In his words, “I will make Imo a better state to be envied of other states in the Federation”
The number one Citizen, maintained that under his administration, Imo state will surely be Improve in terms of infrastructureal development, prompt payment of worker’s salaries and other laudable projects that will bring Imo state to lime line among other states.
Our investigations has it that, Uzodimma has stipulated the 3R time frame to synchronize the 3R policy of Recovery, Reconciliation and Rehabilitation to better the state for benefit of the citizenry.
Recall that Imo governor assured Imolites that his tenure will make Imo proud having showcased his elegance and service delivery on the few infrastructural development in the state.
However, road construction is one major projects amongst others, of which the governor has promised to make Imo return to it lost glory of hospitality.
Another major target in his administration is to restore the beauty of the streets in the municipality with the latest traffic light Project as seen around the state.
Meanwhile, the governor of Imo state also assured the state of maximum security and safety of citizens by resisting the dreaded unknown gun men that came to ridicule the image of the state.
There is no doubt Orlu zone of the state is raising unnecessary tension by the continuous attack on citizens by Hoodlums, the Government of Imo state has increased surveillance to curb crime in the area.
The recent killing of a DPO in a police station in orlu is being seriously investigated by the law enforcement to bring to book the assailants.
Another pressing area is the civil service welfare which at several times have been reported to the governor to help Imo workers and pay off arears of salaries owed to them.
On this, governor Uzodinma has promised to keep to his Promise of paying Imo workers and pensioners as at when due.
Also on sanitation, the Government has expressed resolve to keep the state clean and free from health hazards.
At Douglas road owerri, road side traders have continued to abuse the law imposed to get rid of unnecessary blockades along Imo roads.
Recent reports by our correspondence in Owerri was that the Douglas and Mbaise road in Owerri are always blocked because of roadside traders who have continued to ignore Government order to make the roads motorable.
