I’m alive, Dele Odule knocks blogger over death rumour
Veteran actor Dele Odule has dismissed false reports claiming he is dead.
He addressed the rumour on Tuesday after a blogger, identified as OpeOmoAjiboye, posted his picture with “RIP” written on it.
Odule, in a video shared on Instagram, said, “There’s nothing wrong with me; I am very much alive.”
He condemned the spread of false news, saying, “I don’t understand why someone would wish me dead. This is barbaric, uncalled for, and not fair.”
The actor also reacted to another false report accusing him of child molestation. A separate post showed an edited image of him in handcuffs, suggesting he had been arrested.
“For what? What is your problem? Are you alright? Don’t try to bring me down,” he said.
“If you come at me, you’re coming at God because you are not fighting me but God.”
Odule thanked fans for their support. “I love you to bits. Thank you for being there always and for your concern about my well-being. I really appreciate it. God bless you.”
Actors Kunle Afod and Opeyemi Aiyeola have shown support for Odule, assuring him that nothing bad will happen.
