ICDU Embarked on Charity Welfare to All Primary Schools in Ishiagu Community
The apex sociocultural organization, ICDU Ishiagu Community Development Union in her administrative decrees to give alm, grow and develop the community has yet again initiated a progressive programme, and this time, to look indepth of her infants ones in the primary schools especially the indigent some, an act of altruism.
A report gathered by our heritage reporter indicated that the administration of Hon. Ajah David (Jawara) in large extent has focused on discharging their core objectives which is developing and improving the well-being of “Umu-isagu okpuite” despite the critics, hoodwinked and hard fought of distraction its faces from past administration to deter the smooth standard of operation in his leadership which has been in positive drive notwithstanding, ensuring peace and serenity in her community, working in synergy to state government policies for the bettering of Umu-isagu in general.
In actualising this charity welfare to the indigent some which comes in phases, ICDU leadership acknowledged that her pupils in all the primary schools of ishiagu Okpuite should appear very neat and in clean uniform, and tasked the teachers of each school visited to:
- Treat every child with utmost regards as their own sons and daughters.
- Sort each child which parents can’t afford their fees and direct same to ICDU for proper attention
- Hand-pick any child from indigent family without good school uniform and exercise books.
- Encourage the schools management on the essence of maintaining a clean and conducive environment
- Activating the teacher-pupils training techniques in ensuring adequate passage of knowledge to the pupils of Umu-isagu.
The ICDU President remarked as he kick-off this crusade of goodwill at “Okue Central School” that every cobwebs covering the eyes of Umu-isagu okpuite for development shall be lifted and the land shall witness a true transformation. And was quick to acknowledge the massive inputs of Hon. Ajah Emmanuel Ogbonna, the executive chairman of ivo local government area within little “measure of time” in his new office and prayed for grace to abound in all his executive functions.
