A young Ghanaian woman, Afia, shared a painful ordeal involving her landlord, bringing her to tears on a popular Ghanaian show, “Auntie Naa’s Oyerepa Afutuo” on Oyerepa FM.
Afia, a 30-year-old wig seller in Kumasi, accused her landlord of breaking his promises after she had an affair with him. She recounted that after renting an apartment for two years, her landlord approached her, claiming to be a divorcee and professing his love.
Trusting him, she decided to date him as he promised to extend her house rent and assured her she wouldn’t have to pay rent anymore.
However, she later discovered that he was lying when his wife returned home.
Realizing the deception, Afia ended the relationship after three months and demanded a refund for her two years of rent from the landlord.
