Otunba Dr. Timehin Adelegbe, the House of Representative member representing Owo/Ose Federal constituency has expressed deep sorrow over the sudden and untimely demise of Hon. Tayo Oluwatuyi, the Secretary to the Ondo State Government (SSG).
In a heartfelt statement released to our heritage reporter online on Saturday, Otunba Adelegbe described late Hon. Oluwatuyi as a consummate public servant, whose contributions towards the development of Ondo State is of no small measure.
In his words; ” Hon. Oluwatuyi’s unwavering commitment to policy advisory, administrative coordination and implementation stood him out as a thorough-bred administrator that will be sorely missed in Ondo State “.
Otunba Adelegbe described Hon. Oluwatuyi’s passing as a devastating blow and a great loss, not only to his family and friends, but also to the people of Ondo State, whom he served with dedication and passion.
He was a brilliant administrator and sagacious politician. He was an embodiment of virtues and a strong bridge between the political class and the career officers. His stabilizing role in government will be missed by all, the lawmaker said
He offered prayers that God almighty will grant his immediate family, Akure community and the Ondo state government, the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
Rest in peace, Hon. Tayo Oluwatuyi. Your immense contributions to the development of Ondo State will never be forgotten, he concluded.
