HON. PRINCESS MIRIAM ONUOHA, A LEGISLATOR WITH PASSION FOR EXCELLENCE
The Lawmaker representing Okigwe North Federal Constituency, Hon Princess Miriam Onuoha has remain resolute and determined to continue delivering the dividends of democracy to her people without inhibition.
Hon. Princess Miriam upon assuming office has continued to dazzle contemporaries with numerous governmental intervention projects. She is well prepared for the job and very proactive and resourceful, she has earned respect form all quarters over her sterling performance. She is now the pride and toast of her people and admirers.
She is the only female Lawmaker from Imo State and few in the country with her mind set made up at ensuring that the act of democracy which stand for government by the people; in which the supreme power is vested in the people and exercised directly by them or by their elected agents under a free electoral system are truly uphold at all time.
She is a grassroot oriented politician who is loved and cherished by her people, a legislator who is known to visit her constituency regularly to garner and collate informations on pressing issues that needed prompt Government attention. She is not like other Lawmakers who have literally found solace in Abuja, and have made it their home because of comfort and insecurity.
In less than three years in office, the people of Okigwe North have discerned and appreciated what True Representation actually means, because she has touched lives in all sectors of humanity, her impactful contribution on healthcare delivery, education, electricity and water scheme projects, road construction, industrialization, erosion control, empowerment, employment and many more speaks credibly well for her.
Hon. Princess Miriam Onuoha has done so well at the Green chamber with so many Motions and Bills attracted by her to transforming and repositioning Okigwe Zone and most especially Okigwe North, and she’d vowed to ensure that everybody in her Constituency feels the present of democracy and its largesse in as much she remains in the system.
The good people of Okigwe North have urged her to continue the good work, stressing that opposition are busy trying to distract her, that what the opposition camps are inking at lies in their self aggrandizement. As in they are bittered that the politics of the past where contracts are awarded to them which often retards development have been halted, hence they seek for her discontinuity by all means.
But the Electorates have vehemently pledged to cast their votes for her because she has shown them love and care unlike in the past administrations. They constituents are now happy that indeed they have a legislator who is so compassionate at putting enabling smile on their faces, that her continuity is assured come 2023.
