Hon Kolawole Babatunde congratulates Christians on Christmas, calls for True spirit of love
A former House of representatives member, Hon. Kolawole Babatunde has congratulated Christians across the globe on the celebration of 2024 Christmas.
In a statement released to newsmen on Wednesday afternoon, the former lawmaker urges Christians to imbibe the true spirit of love to replicate the teachings of Jesus Christ.
According to him, I wish to extend my warmest greetings to all our Christian brothers and sisters as we celebrate this year’s Christmas. Christmas is a unique and cherished time of the year, a season of hope anchored in God’s eternal gift of love.
On this special occasion, I express my heartfelt gratitude to God for His unending goodness and mercies over us throughout the outgoing year. Despite the challenges of 2024, God has preserved and guided us to this point.
As we gather to commemorate the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ, my message is that may your Christmas be filled with joy, peace, and love. I encourage us all to embrace the true spirit of Christmas, which is love, and let it inspire us to support one another in building a brighter and more secure future.
I commend the steadfastness and resilience of our people amidst the current economic hardships, which are not unique to our nation. Let us continue to strengthen our faith in God and remain hopeful for a more prosperous and fulfilling New Year.
While we celebrate, I urge us to remain steadfast in our prayers for the continued success of the Hon. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa-led administration in Ondo State. Together, through unity and faith, we will overcome our challenges and achieve greater heights.
