Following the state government will to propagate the economic wheel of his people through “Grassroot Business/Entrepreneurship Training” under the umbrella of Ebonyi State Small and Medium Enterprises Development Agency led by the Director General, Dr. Stephen Odo, in company of the Permanent Secretary Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Mrs. Mojo Ekuma and staff stormed Ivo local government area of Ebonyi State in continuation of door to door quest of revitalising economic growth in the state.
The compassionate workaholic council chairman, Hon. Ajah Emmanuel Ogbonna (Confirm) set enable environment exclusively for the programme to accommodate and embrace opportunities for the people of his Council especially those in Small and Medium Enterprises, artisans and the general business men and women to enable accessment of the refundable free interest Loan according their capacity.
The D.G EBSMEDA enumerated the measures the loan can be access from Bank of industry and set plans to increase atleast 2 brand agricultural products as a major business activities to promote in Ivo Local government area and such will involve 3 stages to establish in the council;
1. Provisions of space (Land, the cluster Venue)
2. Machine (will be access as a loan from the industry under agricultural scheme, to process the product)
3. Increase the production
The Agricultural Credit guaranty Scheme will enable the potential farmers, business men and women to thrive through CBN loan Scheme designed to assist People in agricultural sector and Small business scales can be opportune to access 1million loan from the Bank of industry situated at Abakaliki while Medium or large Enterprise can access 10 million naira refundable loan from the headquarter situated at Abuja.
