HERE AM I, MY PEOPLE, SEND ME: A Message to Ndi Orlu, Orsu and Oru East
Federal Constituency
The past four and half months have been filled with lots of political activities from various candidates seeking to serve the people in various capacities.
According to the election timetable released by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), September 2022 marked the commencement of political campaigns for all political parties and their candidates, and since then, the floodgate of political activities has been open.
As a democrat who play by the rules, I have been engaging with you all on different levels, selling my idea of quality representation with a touch of humanity and the fear of God to you all. My campaign team, supporters and I have been meeting with individuals, groups
and communities to seek for their support. I have interacted almost with every segment of this federal constituency either in person, through my representatives or through my publications in the media.
If there is any individual that my message of HOPE has not gotten to, it is not deliberate
and I apologize from the depths of my heart. I am not called MORE PEOPLE (MORE
PEE – for short) for nothing. I hardly walk alone; I am that biblical shepherd that will
abandon the 99 sheep and go in search of the lost sheep.
Ndi Orlu, Orsu and Oru East Federal Constituency are not sheep, so the example cited above is to buttress my age long
culture of inclusivity, togetherness and collectiveness. I do not discriminate against
anybody no matter how highly or lowly placed. I believe that walking alone, you can only
walk fast but will not go far unless you walk with others. Ndi Igbo si na Igwe bu ike (there
is strength in unity). Orlu, Orsu and Oru East Federal Constituency needs a leader with the OHANEZE mindset.
The Oha (masses or people) comes before the Eze (leader) because leadership is
all about the people. Election also, is about the people. It is a democratic festival where the people are encouraged and allowed to freely choose who to lead them for a given period of time. The election is now at hand and I have the urge to once again address you all as I have always done.
Unlike some gatecrashers whose sole purpose of campaigning is just to win elections, I have a bond with you all and my campaign outings have been to strengthen that bond. Beyond party affiliations, I remain the BEST MAN FOR THE JOB. THE STRONGEST VOICE that will ever represent this great constituency.
I have built relationships, friendships and alliances across the length and breath of this great constituency and beyond. My philanthropic antecedents earned me the nickname Omeogo – meaning a cheerful
giver. I am not out to blow my trumpet because to those who know me personally, no introduction is necessary. All of these references are just to espouse my track records of service to God
and humanities and provide a GUARANTEE that I will SERVE you all with every breath
of my nostrils, every ounce of my strength and everything I have.This is not a mere promise, THIS IS A COVENANT.
In my declaration speech, I outlined snippets of my broad programmes and policy agenda.
I have also had course to share my ideas and message for a greater constituency to everyone I have encountered in the course of my campaign outings. Let me reiterate some of my plans for the good people of Orlu, Orsu and Oru East Federal Constituency, which are

➢ Quality bills and articulate viewpoints and contributions to national issues and
debates
➢ Human capital development manifested through
â–ª Skills acquisition
â–ª Entrepreneurship and business development
â–ª Economic empowerment
â–ª Social security and social investment
➢ Open governance initiative through regular consultations and town hall meetings
➢ Shared prosperity initiative that will see to better attraction of federal government
presence, projects and opportunities to the constituency
I have the right connections, skills and competencies to turn my plans into tangible and verifiable achievements. I am also an excellent negotiator, an astute team player and one who cannot be intimidated by a crowd EVEN IF I HAVE TO STAND ALONE. With OMEOGO, our Constituency will NEVER BE SHORTCHANGED.
I have stated elsewhere and it is worth repeating here that my sole purpose is creating a better, secured and peaceful society that provides everyone with equal opportunities to life, living and the pursuit of individual and collective means of livelihood and happiness.
My mandate will consolidate on the achievements of the Executive Governor of Imo State, His Excellency, Distinguished Senator Hope Uzodimma in our constituency and together, we will make lives better for our people.
As we go to the polls on Saturday, let us remember to vote for capacity and competence, experience and humanity, transparency and accountability, and above all, the candidate with the antecedents that we can trust. Let us Vote for APC across board, especially for the Federal Constituency seat for Orlu, Orsu and Oru East.
