_Mark 10:46-52 KJV
And they came to Jericho: and as he went out of Jericho with his disciples and a great number of people, blind Bartimaeus, the son of Timaeus, sat by the highway side begging.
[47] And when he heard that it was Jesus of Nazareth, he began to cry out, and say, Jesus, thou Son of David, have mercy on me.
[48] And many charged him that he should hold his peace: but he cried the more a great deal, Thou Son of David, have mercy on me.
[49] And Jesus stood still, and commanded him to be called. And they call the blind man, saying unto him, Be of good comfort, rise; he calleth thee._
[50] And he, casting away his garment, rose, and came to Jesus._
[51] And Jesus answered and said unto him, What wilt thou that I should do unto thee? The blind man said unto him, Lord, that I might receive my sight.
[52] And Jesus said unto him, Go thy way; thy faith hath made thee whole. And immediately he received his sight, and followed Jesus in the way”._
*MESSAGE:*
☆☆☆ When mercy speaks, protocols are suspended.
☆☆☆ When God decides to have mercy on a man, even his sins are rendered ineffective.
☆☆☆ When mercy is in action, whether you are qualified for something or not is not an issue.
☆☆☆☆ That was why God said 👇
_”For he saith to Moses, I will have mercy on whom I will have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I will have compassion”.
[16] So then it is not of him that willeth, nor of him that runneth, but of God that sheweth mercy” – Romans 9:15-16._
■■■ Blind Bartimaeus was quite aware of this fact.
☆☆☆ He cried to Jesus for help and said 👇
“Jesus, thou Son of David, have mercy on me”.
■■■ Jesus didn’t pay attention and people were even trying to stop Bartimaeus from crying for help.
☆☆☆ Suddenly, Bartimaeus changed his words and cried the more saying: 👇
“Thou Son of David, have mercy on me”.
■■■ Bartimaeus went to the root of Jesus by reminding him that he was a descendant of David.
☆☆☆ Bartimaeus addressed Jesus directly as “thou son of David”.
☆☆☆ He went to the root of Jesus.
☆☆☆ He was simply reminding Jesus that David committed adultery and was also a murderer but mercy prevailed.
☆☆☆ And now you Jesus came through the lineage of David as the “root of David”.
☆☆☆ Bartimaeus was therefore pleading with Jesus to extend to him the same mercy that David enjoyed.
■■■ The bible recorded that at this point, “Jesus stood still”, wondering who was this that knew his root.
☆☆☆ Jesus requested that Bartimaeus should be called and mercy found him out.
☆☆☆ Today, same mercy will search you out in Jesus name.
☆☆☆ When you have tried everything within your ability all to no avail, plead for mercy.
☆☆☆ Where you are not opportune to defend or speak for yourself, mercy can speak on your behalf.
☆☆☆ Mercy has the ability to release to man what he is not qualified for.
*PRAYERS:*
1. Father, in the name of Jesus, deliver me by your mercy; from the battles that are trying to engulf my life.
2. Jehovah God, please deliver me by your mercy; from the pit that the wickedness of men has thrown you.
3. My father, my father, let your mercy restore to me in whatever way my glory has been shortchanged by men.
4. Oh God my father, let your mercy grant unto me access to that which men think I am not qualified for in Jesus name.
5. Lord Jesus, let your mercy qualify me for that position which I am not qualified for in Jesus name.
6. Oh God my creator, you that promoted Joseph above his boss, please lift me above those who are currently ahead of me in Jesus name.
7. Father, by your mercy; please disconnect those who have been oppressing me with their connections in Jesus name.
8. Lord Jesus, by the reason of your mercy, lift me up in those areas of my life where I have been “brought low” by the manipulations of men.
9. Lord Jesus, by your mercy; please dismantle every ungodly protocol standing against my elevation.
10. Jesus, thou son of David, let your mercy grant me positive answers to all my prayers.
*PROPHETIC DECLARATIONS:*
I prophesy, the same mercy Blind Bartimaeus enjoyed shall be extended to you today in Jesus name.
Where you have been shortchanged by the wickedness of men, the mercy of God shall restore you today in Jesus name.
What your certificate cannot qualify you for, I prophesy, the mercy of God shall qualify you today in Jesus name.
I prophesy, the height you never knew you could attain in life, that same mercy of God shall take you there in Jesus name.
I decree, declare and prophesy, where you have been silenced by men, the mercy of God shall raise a voice on your behalf in Jesus name.
Every limitation on your way shall the mercy of God uproot today in Jesus name.
Blind Bartimaeus received mercy in the midst of the multitude, I decree, the mercy of God shall single you out for divine attention today in Jesus name.
You will enjoy the unmerited, unqualified and unparalleled mercy of God unabated in Jesus name.
You are the next online for divine mercy.
