DISSOLUTION OF THE AKWA IBOM STATE HOTELS MANAGEMENT AND TOURISM BOARD
In line with the State Government’s determination to reposition the Tourism Sector of the State to align with the ARISE Agenda of the present Administration, His Excellency, the Governor of Akwa Ibom State has approved the dissolution of the Akwa Ibom State Hotels Management and Tourism Board with effect from 2nd January, 2025.
To this end, the Chairman of the Board is hereby directed to handover to the most senior Director in the Board who will work strictly under the supervision of the Hon. Commissioner for Culture and Tourism until further notice.
