Governor, Commissioners, Council Chairmen, Assembly members present as Hon. Mrs Anna Chinyere Okezie finally laid to rest
It is with a heavy heart, sorrows and grief that bear the atmosphere of the burial ceremony of the late Chairperson of Ivo local government area (Late Hon. Mrs. Anna Chinyere Okezie) who went to be with the Lord on 27th January, 2023.
Late Hon. Mrs Anna Chinyere Okezie though at a prime age had a fulfilled life through her humanitarian services, leadership pathway initiative and historical achievements in fight to liberate the oppressed and lesser privileges, her sterling efforts in organising and leading the women folks of Ivo local government area yielded fruit even in short time frame in office, that culminate her immerse contributions in women growth and recognition in politics. She is a colossal irreparable loss to family, local government and humanity’s.
Present in the ceremony, the executive governor of Ebonyi State, His Excellency, Rt Hon. Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru FNIOB GGCEHF ably represented by the Hon. Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Matter, Hon. Uchenna Igwe commiserate with the immediate family and Ivo Council Chairman, Hon. Ajah Emmanuel Ogbonna (Confirm) “The Lord giveth and the Lord Taketh, we can’t question or bring back the hand of Clocks and May the Lord who allowed this happen bring hope and Joy to this family”.
The ceremony witnessed dignitaries from all works of life.
