Gov. Aiyedatiwa’s Aide, Hon. Wellington Adebawo Rescues Accident Victims in Akure
In a heroic display of emergency response, Honorable (Prince) Wellington Oriade Adebawo, Special Assistant to the Ondo State Governor on Emergency Response, sprang into action earlier today, January 17, 2025, to rescue accident victims along Oke Aro road in Akure.
According to eyewitnesses, the accident occurred when a vehicle lost control and crashed, leaving several passengers injured. Without hesitation, Hon. Adebawo rushed to the scene, mobilizing his team to provide immediate assistance to the victims.
The Special Assistant, known for his swift response to emergencies, ensured that the victims received prompt medical attention. He personally escorted them to the Ondo State University of Medical Sciences Teaching Hospital in Akure, where they are currently receiving treatment.
Hon. Adebawo emphasized the importance of safe driving practices, urging drivers to exercise caution on the roads. He also stressed the need for proper vehicle parking, noting that reckless parking can lead to accidents.
This is not the first time Hon. Adebawo has demonstrated his commitment to emergency response. In the past, he has been involved in various rescue efforts, including responding to floods and road accidents in the state.
