GOD USES THE RIDICULOUS TO ACHIEVE THE MIRACULOUS – Pastor Isaac Olutimehin
TEXT:
Isaiah 55:1 KJV.
“Ho, every one that thirsteth, come ye to the waters, and he that hath no money; come ye, buy, and eat; yea, come, buy wine and milk without money and without price”.
*MESSAGE:*
☆☆☆ Beloved, today’s bible verse is very deep and loaded.
☆☆☆ God is the only true source of satisfaction.
☆☆☆ Every attempt on the part of man to quench or satisfy his own thirst, by himself, is only temporal.
☆☆☆ Beloved, water is the only known liquid that can give a long lasting satisfaction to thirst but other form of liquids can only last for a while.
☆☆☆ The water provided by man can only quench thirst for a while.
☆☆☆ In John 4:13, the bible says👇
“Jesus answered and said unto her, Whosoever drinketh of this water shall thirst again” – John 4:13.
☆☆☆ Again Jesus said, “But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life” – John 4:14.
☆☆☆ This is a mystery.
☆☆☆ Our focal scripture for today goes further to say, “and he that hath no money; come ye, buy, and eat; yea, come, buy wine and milk without money and without price”.
☆☆☆ This is ridiculous but then it will surely birth the miraculous for those who will believe and act in faith.
☆☆☆ Beloved, I read about the testimony of a widow in UK who was seriously in need of some food items but had no money. She heard God saying clearly that she should put on her best attire and go to a particular shopping mall to ‘buy’ all her required items.
☆☆☆ Initially she was afraid but when the voice was persistent and she was so sure that God was the One speaking to her; she obeyed.
☆☆☆ She got to the shopping floor of the supermarket and God was asking her to *pick this and that.*
☆☆☆ She later attracted so much attention because of her large ‘purchases’.
☆☆☆ She now heard God asking her to move to a particular cashier’s desk, whose queue was so long, to make her ‘payment’.
☆☆☆ At first she had a little respite because of the long queue. However, her own time came to be attended to. At that moment she thought to herself, “my time of disgrace has come”.
☆☆☆ No money and yet so much to pay for. When it was her turn to be attended to by the cashier, there was an announcement that all activities in the supermarket should be suspended because it was time for break.
☆☆☆ By the time activities resumed, this woman was being attended to and the cashier had such a hectic time calculating all her ‘purchases’.
☆☆☆ Suddenly, there was this other announcement from the management of the shopping mall saying, “today marks our tenth year anniversary that this shopping mall began operation”. “Therefore, to appreciate all our customers, the management has decided that whosoever the cashier is attending to right now should go with all her purchases free without paying a dime”.
☆☆☆ This woman almost fainted.
☆☆☆ Beloved, the bible says👇
*Behold, I am the Lord, the God of all flesh: is there any thing too hard for me? Jeremiah 32:27.*
☆☆☆ The book of Luke answered and said, “For with God nothing shall be impossible” – Luke 1:37.
☆☆☆ Let me quickly share yet another testimony to encourage your faith.
☆☆☆ I read about the late founder of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Papa Josiah Akindayomi. He was traveling one day, suddenly the car stopped at a lonely place and very late in the night. When he asked his driver what happened, the driver said, “Papa, fuel has finished”. Papa instructed the driver to go to the stream very close to where the car stopped and fetch ‘fuel’. The driver knew he must not argue with Papa. So he obeyed and came back. Papa said “pour the fuel into the car”. Remember it was water but the driver did as he was commanded. He started the engine and the car roared back to life.
☆☆☆ Papa later told the driver and those traveling with him and said: “if Jesus could turn water to wine, he can also turn water to fuel”. Papa built his faith on John 2:1-10.
*PRAYERS*
1. Oh God my father, let the ridiculous challenges troubling my life, bring about a miraculous testimonies in Jesus name.
2. Father, perform a miracle in my life that is beyond the knowledge and understanding of man.
3. Father, in the name of Jesus, I receive faith to see the miraculous through the ridiculous happening in my life.
4. Father, step into my situation today and turn things around in my favour.
5. Please Lord, turn my failures to success and change my story for good.
6. Father, please give me a miraculous testimony that will silence my mockers.
7. Oh God my father, don’t allow me to be stranded as I journey through life.
*PROPHETIC DECLARATIONS*
I decree into the life of somebody out there, today, the All Sufficient God shall miraculously meet all your needs in Jesus mighty name.
I decree and declare, the Living Water himself shall quench all your thirsts in Jesus mighty name.
Your case is not impossible for God to handle. You are coming out fully replenished and refreshed in Jesus mighty name.
There is a woman reading this prayer message right now, the Lord asked me to tell you, “your case is settled, you shall weep no more”.
To someone whose bank account is in the Red right now, if only you have faith to believe and receive this, in the name of Jesus, I decree, you will receive a credit alert this week, that will settle your debt with much left over.
For everyone whose needs are critical, I decree and declare, the heavens shall take care of those needs even as you are reading this message right now in Jesus mighty name.
My God, before who I stand, shall meet all your needs according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.
As you journey through life, I decree, you will not be stranded in Jesus mighty name.
