Furore As APC Chieftain, Albert Akintoye, Hobnobs with Alleged Kidnapper
The alleged case of kidnapping and ritual acts levied against a chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party in Ondo state, Mohammad Sani Oladele, popularly known as Alhaji Rondo, has taken another turn as the PDP accuses a former member of the House of Representatives and Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Chief Albert Akintoye, of being hand in gloves with Alhaji Rondo, the alleged criminal.
Recall that the The Inspector General of Police, Kayode Egbetokun, last week, ordered a thorough investigation into the an allegations of kidnapping and ritual acts involving Mohammad Sani Oladele who resides at Ode-irele in Ondo state.
Meanwhile, the Irele chapter of the People’s Democratic Party, through its spokesperson, Nenuwa Olusola Rawlings, has however taken a swipe at the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), noting that the strange and nocturnal dealings of Albert Akintoye with Alhaji Rondo is a strong indication of the insincerity of the ruling party.
“It is rather ironic and pretentious that an APC leader like Albert Akintoye is dealing secretly with a fellow already accused of various wrongdoings. It is a case of the kettle calling the pot black. It also raises questions about the sincerity of the APC.
“We believe that Alhaji Rondo’s suspicious dealings with Akintoye who is an appointee of the Governor gives a wrong impression to the extent that the whole allegation affair was an orchestration by the governor through Akintoye.” Nenuwa wrote.
