As part of his administrative measure to harness all vital sectors in his leadership, the executive chairman of Ivo local government, *Hon. Chief Ajah Emmanuel Ogbonna (Confirm)* has drawn methods and plans to change the status quo in Agricultural practice in the area through provision of large numbers of farming materials and plantations. Viz:
💥 *The Council Chairman acquired Agricultural Training and graduated with a recognised Certification as an Agriculturist on 22nd September, 2022 at “CSS Intergrated Global Farms Limited, Gora in Nasarawa State”.*
1.Distributed to subsistence farmers with over 1000 Cartons of Agricultural Spraying Machines.
2. Distributed over 3000 bags of various types of fertilisers *(urea, diammonium phosphate and potassium chloride etc)* 1st Phase and 2nd Phase.
3. Distributed over 5000 Cartons of various Agricultural chemicals
4. Distributed rice seedlings of special species to subsistence farmers
5. Plantations of cereal crops (Rice) in about 3 acres of land.
6. Facilitates the processing of Agricultural Loan to farmers through EBSMEDA
7. Agricultural Financial empowerments
8. Etc
Sustainable Productivity in Agricultural course in the Council remains the core motivating factors of our dear workaholic Council Chairman.
