FUEL SCARCITY: END THE SUFFERINGS OF NIGERIANS, PROPHETESS MUMMY APO APPEALS TO FEDERAL GOVERNMENT.
*An Abuja based renowned and highly sought after seer, singer and Philanthropist, prophetess Nkeiru Ihezuo, The Overseer of God Divine Answers Ministry Apo Abuja has passionately appealed to the Federal Government to end the sufferings of ordinarily Nigerians who are groaning due to the scarcity of Premium Motor Spirit in Abuja and across the Nation.*
Mummy Apo as she is fondly called, made this passionate appeal in Abuja through an online media, StandOut Africa Media while reminiscing over the pains and burdens which the masses are undergoing to get petreoluem products which has become a scarce commodity despite Nigeria been one of the top exporter of the products.
*Prophetess Nkeiru Ihezou said that it is worrisome that 60 years after the discovery of oil in commercial quantity in Bayelsa State, Nigeria cannot boast of a single refinery working at above 50% of its capacity or even extract a barrel of crude oil on its own with indigenous technology and labor, neither has the present administration fufiled it’s promise to revamp the ailing refineries after the failure of successive administration which assured Nigerians that China was to construct an $8 billion oil refinery in Lagos, Bayelsa and Kogi Nigeria.*
*Prophetess Ihezuo blamed the growing scarcity of Petroleum products and the Government inability to build a Refinery on corruption which has become the single greatest obstacle to economic and social development in Nigeria.*
*She stated that corruption erodes the integrity of a people and a nation, undermines democratic institutions and contributes to instability fuelled by the distrust and resentment of the citizens against the Government.*
*On whether crude oil has become a curse or still a blessing to Nigeria, She said that it is our actions and inactions as a people that determine whether oil is a blessing or a curse because countries like United Arab Emirates, Russia, Saudi Arabia and Brazil have made the most of their crude oil and the positive impacts are evident. This further shows that crude oil as a resource is a blessing, however for it to reach its full potential depends hugely on the way and manner it is managed.*
She appealed to the federal government to end the sufferings of Nigerians by taking decisive and proactive measures to avoid an uprising of the citizens who are groaning over the scarcity of a product which God gave to Nigeria in abundance.
