Yesterday, the 2nd day of the month of August,around 130hrs, Prince Oriade Wellington Adebawo received a call about a fire outbreak caused by a generator that was in use at Olukayode Shopping Complex. 
In his usual proactive manner the SA to the Ondo State Governor on Emergency Response promptly alerted the men of the Ondo State Fire Service who immediately swung into action once given the details of the incident.
By the time Prince Oriade Wellington Adebawo arrived at the scene the fire outbreak twenty minutes later the fire outbreak had been adequately dealt with through the combined efforts of the leadership of the shopping complex led by Mr. Akingbade Matthew and the Fire Service officers.
As a seasoned safety professional, Prince Oriade Wellington Adebawo took out time to assess the situation with the Chairman of the Phone Sellers Association (Mr. Akingbade Matthew) and also advised the traders present on emergency response processes that could be of invaluable assistance to them in future. While commending the swift response of Mr. Akingbade Matthew and his team in subduing the potentially dangerous conflagration he assured everyone present that the Ondo State Government ably led by His Excellency Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa remains committed to ensuring the safety of lives and properties within the Sunshine State.
