The immediate past Commissioner for Culture and Tourism, Hon Yemi Olowolabi gladly rejoice with his Excellency Oluwarotimi Odunayo Akeredolu
(SAN) and lucky Ayeidatiwa on the victory recorded at the Apex court.
In his remarks, he hailed the decision of the Supreme Court which upheld the victory of the October 10, 2020 governorship election in the state.
The Supreme Court, in a majority judgment delivered by Justice Emmanuel Agim, four of the seven-member panel dismissed the appeal by Eyitayo Jegede and his party, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) on the grounds that it was incompetent.
He also noted that the judgement of the Supreme Court validates and justifies the collective interest of the good people of Ondo state to reelect the performing Governor.
He however, urged PDP guber candidate, Eyitayo Jegede, SAN, to humbly join hands and support the governor for the development of the state.
Finally, he extends his congratulatory messages to all the APC faithfuls in the state.
