Former Nigerian Governor dies
Former governor of Oyo State, Victor Olunloyo has passed away just days before his 90th birthday.
His death was confirmed by his family in a statement released on Sunday.

Dr. Olunloyo was not only a former governor but also a skilled mathematician, engineer, and respected technocrat.
He held important positions, including the first Rector of Ibadan Polytechnic and the first Rector of Kwara State Polytechnic.
The family expressed their sorrow and appreciation for the long and impactful service Dr. Olunloyo gave to the nation and humanity.
They also requested privacy as they make arrangements for his burial, which they hope will reflect his lifetime of contributions.
He is survived by his children including popular Nigerian investigative journalist, Kemi Olunloyo.
