Federal Lawmaker, Otunba Timehin Adelegbe condemns riot display and Police Station Attack in Ifon, Calls for calm.
Otunba Dr. Timehin Adelegbe, lawmaker representing Owo/Ose Federal constituency has condemned the reported loss of lives and the razing down of the Ifon police station and one other building in the town.

Reflecting that the lawmaker has called for thorough investigation into the circumstances that led to the avoidable death of two young men in the town which had led to the attack on the Ifon police station by some angry protesters.
Ifon, the headquarters of Ose local government is a border town that is faced with some security challenges that require all hands to be on deck to address. Otunba Adelegbe is determined to complement the laudable efforts of some well-meaning indigenes of the town towards the establishment of an effective and efficient community vigilante group and to also support other security agencies in the town to enhance the security of lives and property in Ifon town and its environs, Hon. Olaniyi Eni-Olotu said.
In order to save the community from futher damage, The lawmaker appeals to the protesters not to be forced by any circumstances to take laws into their hands as two wrongs do not make a right.
While sympathizing with the families that lost their loved ones to the unrest, Otunba Adelegbe appeals for calm as the outcome of the investigation into the unfortunate incident will surely determine the next step to be taken on the matter, Hon. Olaniyi Eni-Olotu concluded.
