2 Chronicles 30:15 KJV.
“Then they killed the passover on the fourteenth day of the second month: and the priests and the Levites were ashamed, and sanctified themselves, and brought in the burnt offerings into the house of the Lord”.
☆☆☆ I have the leading of the Holy Spirit to share this with everyone, the youth in particular.
☆☆☆ Let me quickly say this to those who may want to opine that our second month is different from the second month of the bible.
☆☆☆ The bible is talking about “the 14th day of the second month” but never gave a name.
☆☆☆ Our second month is February and day 14 is today. Period.
☆☆☆ Most people, particularly the youth, see February 14 as a day to show “love”.
☆☆☆ This “love” however is different from the love as revealed to mankind by God through our Lord Jesus Christ:
☆☆☆ The bible says:
“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life” – John 3 :16.
☆☆☆ We are being encouraged to love one another as exemplified by God himself.
“This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you” – John 15:12.
☆☆☆ This means, following or practising the love of God has no time lag or a particular date attached to such love.
☆☆☆ Love is continuous and it should be on a daily basis. Loving one another till eternity.
☆☆☆ The devil has a way of adulterating whatever is good, particularly things of God.
☆☆☆ No wonder the bible warns:
“For, brethren, ye have been called unto liberty; only use not liberty for an occasion to the flesh, but by love serve one another” – Galatians 5:13.
☆☆☆ Today, brethren are using the occasion of February 14 to please and satisfy the lust of the flesh.
☆☆☆ Now back to our main scriptural verse for today:
“Then they killed the passover on the fourteenth day of the second month: and the priests and the Levites were ashamed, and sanctified themselves, and brought in the burnt offerings into the house of the Lord” – 2 Chronicles 30:15.
☆☆☆ February 14 is a day of sanctification and purification, not a day for adultery and fornication.
☆☆☆ It is a day to be sorry and be sober for our sins rather than celebrating and wallowing in them.
☆☆☆ On the fourteenth day of the second month, the children of Israel gathered together for the following purposes:
>>> A solemn assembly.
>>> A passover.
>>> A time to return to God.
>>> A day to run away from sins.
>>> A day that God will spare his own children from divine wrath.
☆☆☆ It is therefore very unfortunate that many people ignorantly gather this day today to submit themselves to be used of the devil.
☆☆☆ If there is anything scripturally correct for this day, it is to run back to God in total repentance.
☆☆☆ Instead, boys and girls, men and ladies, will go out on February 14 celebrating sins:
☆☆☆ Eating, dinning and wining with the devil.
☆☆☆ The ladies will be asking for pizza, chocolate, chicken and chips or fried rice on February 14 while the men will be demanding for sex in exchange for those menu.
☆☆☆ Men and ladies out there, listen to this:
“The fourteenth day of the second month at even they shall keep it, and eat it with unleavened bread and bitter herbs” – Numbers 9:11.
☆☆☆ The above scripture precribes “bitter herbs” or bitter leaves as food to be taken on February 14.
☆☆☆ This should tell us that February 14 is a day of solemn assembly.
☆☆☆ It is a day of purification of souls, according to 1 Peter 1:22:
“Seeing ye have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit unto unfeigned love of the brethren, see that ye love one another with a pure heart fervently”.
☆☆☆ February 14 should be seen as a day of moving closer to God rather than a day to dine and wine with the devil.
☆☆☆ The devil’s gifts for those who consecrate this day to him are:
>>> Unwanted pregnancies.
>>> Abortion or even sudden death.
>>> Becoming single mothers.
>>> Uncertain future.
>>> Contacting various sexually transmitted diseases.
>>> Truncated destinies, etc.
☆☆☆ The choice is yours beloved.
*PRAYERS:*
1. Oh God, please deliver your children, particularity the youth, from ignorance associated with this day in Jesus name.
2. Father, give our youths the courage and the boldness to say No to the devil’s delicacies in Jesus name.
3. Open the eyes and the hearts of men to see and know that Jesus Christ is the only true love.
4. Oh God my father, please don’t allow me to mortgage my destiny on the altar of ignorance in Jesus name.
5. You February 14, I decree, you shall no longer swallow and destroy glorious destinies anymore in Jesus name.
6. February 14 shall not add me and my children to its list of casualties in Jesus name.
7. Oh Lord, let your will be done in the lives of men in Jesus name.
8. Father, please take over February 14 and inspire men and women all over the world to begin to use this day to glorify your name.
9. Devil, you have lost your hold on this day.
10. February 14 is sanctified and dedicated to the Lord in Jesus mighty name.
PROPHETIC DECLARATIONS:
I pray for every reader of this message, may you not mortgage your destiny on the altar of the devil in Jesus name.
I decree and declare, February 14 shall not add you to its list of casualties in Jesus name.
You will not ignorantly sacrifice your future for a disguised love in Jesus name.
Father, please grant these people the boldness and courage to say No to the devil’s delicacies in Jesus name.
I command you devil to lose your hold on this day in Jesus name.
Satan, your authority being exercised over this very day is withdrawn.
Glorious glories shall no longer be buried on this day anymore in Jesus name.
Hitherto shinning stars shall no longer be caged again on this day.
Destines shall not be truncated henceforth on this day in Jesus mighty name.
Be consecrated.
Be holy.
Stay undefiled.
