Many will agree with me that, a worthy life is a life, lived to better the society. Each human being on earth was created to make an endless impact to his generation.
Going further, our good deeds to others distinguish us from us . Leadership is all about sacrifice and impact in the lives of others.
My today’s write up is centered on a man, full of passion, love and ready to help others, who has contributed his quota to the development of his community without making noise about it.
Notably, Engr Ifeanyi Akwitti, a native of Uvuru in Aboh Mbaise LGA is a technocrat and an energy expert. He has over 17 years in the Oil & Gas industry working with Shell UK and BG Group in the UK before resigning in 2012 to go into consultancy. He Currently consults with Saudi Aramco, Qatar Petroleum and ADNOC Group. He is also the Vice President of EVIVAL Group(Dubai UAE), a company he founded and Partner JAOEEOO Oil & Gas Ltd(Lagos Nig)
Engr AKWITTI finished his secondary education at the then prestigious Imo State Senior Secondary School for Science Etiti in Ihitte Uboma LGA and thereafter proceeded to the University of Calabar where he bagged his first degree in Petroleum Geology in 1998.
After completion of his National Youth Service Corps(NYSC) in Port Harcourt
, Engr AKWITTI engaged himself in a private practice and later secured a Job with INTERLOG, a UK based company as a Welldata Engineer.
Conversly, With his burning quest for education he spent only one year with this company in the UK before resigning to go back to school. He then enrolled and bagged his Masters in Petroleum Geoscience at the Royal Holloway College, University of London. Soon after graduation, he left to Houston Texas USA for a stint with Halliburton and upon return to England he enrolled and bagged his Petroleum Engineering degrees at the London South Bank university.
His interest in politics dated back to his university days in University of Calabar where he actively participated in the student Union politics. He was elected the Deputy Secretary, faculty of Science students association and in 1997, Engr Akwitti was elected to represent his Faculty in the Parliament of the university of Calabar.
Before his sojourn to the United Kingdom for further studies he was a very strong and active member of the then APP. When he returned to Nigeria in 2012, he joined the PDP until lately as a result of the Ahmed Makarfi and Ali Modu Sheriff power tussle in PDP that culminated in the exit of the Ali Modu Sheriff group to the APC. He has since re-validated his membership with the APC.
He is the founder and Patron of REFORMER AMBASSADORS, a political pressure group.
Engr Ifeanyi Akwitti is happily married with children.
Having x-rayed his profile, the good people of Imo state especially, the people of Aboh Mbaise, it is pertinent for me, to inform you that in leadership, there are raw gifts from God to humanity that are yet to be harnessed, of which Engr. Ifeanyi Akwitti is one of them in Imo state. One of the good things about him, is that , He focuses on developing and encouraging others. He is a strategic thinker with innovation, and action oriented policies. Indeed he is the Reformer that has come to Reform and transform Aboh Mbaise, Ngor Okpala Federal Constituency.
