A Socio-political Group in Ekiti State ” Ekiti South Development Agenda has adopted one of the Governorship Aspirants Hon. Femi Bamisile popularly known as BAFEM from the South senatorial District ahead of the APC primary election in the State.
The Group which is one of the leading Voices championing the agitation for the District to produce the Governor of the State in 2022 says, its resolution on Bamisile was based on a far-reaching research and support base of all the Aspirants from the Zone.
In a release signed by the Group Coordinator Idowu Afuye posited that, the Candidature of Hon. Bamisile will no doubt be a fresh air for the People of Ekiti State.
The Group described the Chairman, House of Representatives Committee on Federal Road Maintenace Agency FERMA, as a forthright, reliable, sincere and vabriant Politician who has contributed immensely to the development of Ekiti South Senatorial District, Ekiti State and Nigeria as a whole.
“Hon. Bamisile contributions in the areas of Agriculture with the recent distribution of over 5,000 bags of fertiliser worth about 200million Naira, healthcare delivery with about 10 Ambulances and other equipment distributed to health facilities, Solar powered street Lights, about 100 federal jobs for the youths, road rehabilitation and construction through FERMA across the State could not be over-emphasised”.
Since we kicked start our agitation to enable a competent and vabriant Politician from the South senatorial District to become the Governor of the State in 2022, we have discovered more qaulities in Hon. Bamisile to among other things, humility, fairness, respect for Elders, above all ability and readiness to serve with sincerity and fear of God.
Another areas are; unparalleled and second to none manifesto and understanding of Ekiti Terrain which the federal Lawmaker made so explicity to a special Panel of the Ekiti South Development Agenda during an interraction with the body in the build up to the final report of the Group.
Hon. Bamisile’s economy policy and framework, if implemented in Ekiti will make the State to rank among the best comity of States in Nigeria and entire Africa.
The Group however appealed to APC Leadership and Followers in the State to rally support the Kota Ekiti born Politician to emerge victorous at the Party primary Election slated for Jan 27, 2022.
“The emergence of Hon. Bamisile as an APC Flagbearer will not only assist the Party to win the forthcoming governorship poll but will also ensure the continuity of the good works of Dr. Kayode Fayemi in the State”.
The Group however commended the Aspirant for making his campaign ahead of the primary Election an issue based that has devoid any campaign of calumny and hatred.
It assured the governorship Hopeful that, the Group will mobilise all the needed support to ensure his success at both the primary and general election in the State.
