Hon. Timehin Adelegbe, the federal lawmaker representing Owo/Ose Federal Constituency at the House of Representatives, Abuja, celebrates with Muslims of his federal constituency, the state and across Nigeria on this year Eid-El-Kabir.
The legislator who sent his greetings to all muslim faithful through his media aide Wale Akingbade, preached peace and love which are the hallmarks of Eid-El- Kabir celebration as laid down by the prophet Mohammed, SWS.
“It is only through love for one another and commitment to peace and security that our constituency, the state and Nigeria as whole can progress towards the fulfilment of its great potentials as a nation”
The Vice Chairman, House Committee on Foreign Affairs charged Muslim Ummah not to stop praying for the peace and progress of the country despite the inability to observe this year’s Hajj and Arafat rites; saying that the fervent prayers by various religious bodies and individuals have been responsible largely for the peace that the country enjoys in recent times.
While urging Nigerians to celebrate moderately, Adelegbe tasked Muslims and non-Muslims to use the occasion to pray for peace, security, stability and prosperity of Owo/Ose federal Constituency and Ondo state which, according to him, is moving on the path of sustainable development.
“Let’s us pray for peace and work for the peace and progress of our constituency, the state and the country. It is only through this that our dreams can come to reality”.
The APC Chieftain in Ondo state also urged the people of the state to obey all COVID-19 safety protocols in view of the emergence of the Delta Variant and prevent its outbreak in the state.
