EFCC arrests top Government officials in Ondo
Top officials working with local government in Ondo State have been apprehended by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission(EFCC) over alleged fraudulent practices.

It was learnt that those arrested were the Treasurer and Head of Local Government Administration in one of the 18 local governments.

They were reportedly picked up by the EFCC following their involvement in an alleged “fraudulent deal” in 2017.
Competent source told reporters that the affected officers were still in the anti-graft agency’s custody for questioning as at the time of filing this report. Thefrontrank
