Ebonyi Government initiatives in the health sector will go a long way in addressing Japa-syndrome – Ivo Chairman, Ajah Emmanuel rate Iwifuru health initiatives
In the wake of recession and the recent predominantly mass exodus of skilled workers and professionals in various fields in search of greener pasture in foreign countries especially the health Workers that made the headway of “JAPA-SYNDROME” tendencies, posing grave threats in labour force as the country is left “Brain-drained” with very few prospective skilled and professionals health workers to fill the vacuum left in health sectors and other government parastatals.
The deep challenges it could cause to better health development and growth in our contemporary health ministry drive the needs to fetch lasting solutions and show other states of the federation how to handle the situation pays off as the world iconic humanitarian, the youngest governor of time, His Excellency, Rt Hon. Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru FNIOB GGCEHF the governor of Ebonyi State, displays rare leadership capacity through recruitment of health professionals workers in the state and place an increment in their salaries.
The workaholic Council chairman of Ivo local government, Hon. Chief Ajah Emmanuel Ogbonna (Confirm), the crusader of peace, who objectively toes the blueprint of His Excellency programmes and policies, lauds the first of its kind achievements in the state by the “distributions of 32 numbers of High Standard SUV JEEPS TO MEDICAL DOCTORS AND GIFTING OVER 20 AMBULANCE TO GENERAL HOSPITALS ACROSS THE LGA’s”.
The council chairman remarks this gesture of His Excellency, is a seasonal initiative and should be emulated in high regards by other states of the federation to enable close attention are attached to their professionals health workers for maximum inputs of the Nigeria labour force. Thus appreciate the compelling commitment of the governor of Ebonyi State.
