*Ebonyi Ambassodors Movement (EBAM) a non-governmental organisation committed to the general advancements of the Education and welfare of Ebonyians has attracted over #300,000 (three hundred thousand naira) cash donation, two typewriters, provision (Cartons of tea, milk, soft and Malta drink) toiletries amongst others to blind Students, blind youth corp member, teachers and Normal Students of Special School for the blind Iboko, Izhi local government area of Ebonyi State through the benevolence of Prince Ekene Okam (Alanazunwa), an Anambra State born philàntropist and CEO of Erokam Empire Limited, Enugu Nigeria.*

 

*Prince Ekene Okam (Alanazunwa) The CEO of Erokam Empire Limited, A music Production and photography firm based in Enugu Nigeria was touched by the earlier visit and donations made by Ebonyi Ambassadors Movement (EBAM) to the blind Students, resolved to Partner with Ebonyi Ambassadors through its National President, Amb Timothy Nwachukwu to render Support to the Indigent blind Students.*

The items donated by the philatropist to the blind Students include #200,000 naira cash for the feeding of the students, #50,000 for the teachers of the students, #20,000 to a blind youth corper currently serving in the school and #60,000 to the general Students.

Other items include ten Cartons of indomie, 2 Cartons of tea and Milk, toilet rolls, a carton of detol, a pack of tooth paste, soft drinks, malt, and several other items.

*In his words, the donor, Prince Ekene Okam (Alanazunwa) in an emotion laden voice and tearful eyes stated that there is ability in disability, he further congratulated the students for not allowing their visual challenges to stop them from their love and quest to obtain quality education, He promised to visit the Students as often as possible as well as to draw attention of other Humanitarians to their plight, he urged them to be of good behavior to their teachers.*

Speaking during the presentation, Amb Timothy Nwachukwu, the National President, Ebonyi Ambassadors Movement (EBAM) appreciated the donor for his Humanitarian gestures to the blind students, he prayed God to increase and uplift the donor financially.

Amb Timothy Nwachukwu stated that one of the core objective of Ebonyi Ambassadors Movement (EBAM) is to support the education of indigent students who have passion for education by partnering with likeminded individuals and Organisations to uplift the Educational disadvantage pupils and Students.

The highly elated principal of the school, Dr Emmanuel Utobo showered encomiums while expressing his profound appreciation to the donor, Prince Ekene Okam (Alanazunwa) and the Ebonyi Ambassadors Movement (EBAM) who attracted the largess to them, he prayed God to bless the donor while assuring that the school authority will make judicious use of the fiance’s and items for the benefit of the students.

Mr Isaiah Awoke, On his part, the blind youth corper who is an ex- student of the school and a beneficiary of the benevolence of the donor expressed shock and utmost surprise as neither he nor the school were expecting the unprecedented visit and benevolence.

One of the beneficiaries, Miss Charity Anyigor prayed God to bless the August visitors as their joy knew no bound over the donations which they receive.

The donor, Prince Ekene Okam was accompanied to the school by his staff, An Ebonyi based comedian and Comr. Amb Ugbala Blessed Moses, The Ebonyi State Cordiantor of Ebonyi Ambassadors Movement.
