Easter: ELFON President Sues For Unity, Peace, Patriotism, Urge Nigerians to Support Buhari, Armed Forces
Amb. Godstime Chukwubuikem Samuel, National President Emerging Leaders Forum of Nigeria (ELFON) and convener of PROJECT UNITY NIGERIA has called on Christians in the country to pray for peace and unity among the different ethnic groups of Nigeria.
Amb. Godstime Urges Nigerians to support Buhari’s government and various policies and programs of Buhari’s administration, constantly pray for Nigeria’s Armed Forces.
He made this call through his Easter message signed on Sunday 17th April, 2022.
In the Easter message to Nigerians, he charged Christians to emulate Jesus Christ and live to exhibit his teachings on love, tolerance and selflessness in all they do.
According to the statement issued by ELFON president, he noted that unity and love amongst the different nationalities of Nigeria would help build a strong and virile nation.
Amb. Godstime Chukwubuikem Samuel felicitates with Nigerians, particularly, the Christian faithfuls on the joyous occasion of Easter celebration which commemorates the resurrection of Jesus Christ from death.
“ELFON president describes the sacrifice of Jesus as the manifestation of God’s love for the entire world of mankind in which Jesus’ sacrifice brought mankind salvation, liberation, hope and a secured future.
“He urged Christians to emulate the sacrifices of Jesus Christ as well as his teaching on love, compassion, selflessness and tolerance in all dealings.
“Godstime used the opportunity to call on Christians to pray for peace and unity among all ethnic nationalities so as to build a virile, strong and equitable nation.
“While wishing Christians a hitch-free Easter celebration, the Project Unity Nigeria convener remind Nigerians to key-into the various pilot programs of PROJECT UNITY NIGERIA to eliminate youth unemployment, restiveness, to achieve food sufficiency and security in the country.
“Let us act in faith towards God and our fellow citizens. Let us be guided by hope, pursue peace at all times, preach unity and work towards resolving our common challenges amicably.
Ours is a victorious heritage; this is the fate of our nation and ourselves. Officers and men of various security agencies of our dear Nation have sacrificed alot for our unity and sustainance of democracy so far with out relenting. They deserve our unallocated prayers and support”, he said.
