The Olu Oha Mbaise General Assembly which is a Social Cultural Group under the leadership of Chief Perry Opara within the week charged the newly sworn in Sole Administrators in Mbaise to use their various offices to unite Mbaise nation instead of dividing them.

The President General of OLU OHA MBAISE GENERAL ASSEMBLY, Chief Perry Opara gave the charge during a Reception Party organized for the 3 Sole Administrators in Mbaise in his home town, on Sunday 21st August, 2022.

Chief Opara urged them to be good ambassadors of Mbaise. “You should think Mbaise first in whatever you do, Mbaise is no longer an endangered species in Imo state because our Governor is now ENYI OMA MBAISE, he said.

“Take advantage of ENYI OMA MBAISE.
Behave like Gov Hope Uzodimma or late Sam Mbakwe. Always make friends with the center so that you can benefit from it” he added.

Hope Uzodimma is a friend to FG of Nigeria. He visits the President more often than any other Governor in Nigeria. He attracts things for Imo people and Ndi Igbo. Sam Mbakwe did the same and developed old Imo state. Please do the same, he advised them

He continued, Go to ENYI OMA the governor, regularly and make a case for Mbaise. He is our friend, he is ENYI OMA MBAISE.

Opara further stated that, people should not allow themselves to be imprisoned by their past, as he said Mbaise should not remain in the past. Let us move on. We should integrate ourselves with the center so our land can develop.

According to him, Mbaise is too big for any one man to put in his pockets. We should welcome and participate in every government in power. That’s the only they can develop their areas.

In his response, Dr Ojukwu who spoke on behalf of the 3 LGA Sole Administrators thanked OLU OHA MBAISE GENERAL ASSEMBLY for organizing the party for them and pledged not to disappoint the people of Mbaise nor the governor.

Chief Tony Anakanl thanked the traditional rulers that graced th occasion for finding time to attend.
