The workaholic Director General, Imo State Consumer Protection Council, Hon. Mrs Obioma Okafor has joined numerous lovers of good things in Imo State, to extoll the effort of the Governor of Imo State, His Excellency Senator Hope Uzodimma for the empowerment of 15,000 Imo youths with 250,000 each amounting to 4billion to start up business of their choice.
On Saturday, the 26th day of June, 2021 will never be forgotten in the history of Imo State, as Senator Hope Uzodimma doled out 4billion naira for the empowerment of 15,000 Imo Youths who have been successfully trained as organized by government for 2021 Imo Youth Empowerment Program which was another fulfillment of the promise of the Governor, in line with the “Build the Youths, Build the Nation” mantra of the administration
According to Her, This is a great and laudable achievement for the shared prosperity government of Gov. Hope Uzodimma. The governor has practically demonstrated that truly his government is a government of shared prosperity and greater Hope for imo citizens.
The Director General went further to urge the beneficiaries of this empowerment scheme to make judicious use of this opportunity to fulfill destiny in order to encourage the governor and the government of imo state to do more. “To whom much is given, much is expected” this is true dividends of democracy, she said.
