Details Of Jonathan’s Meeting With Tinubu, APC Governors finally revealed
According to reports gathered by our heritage reporter Nigeria, the presidential candidate of the ruling All Progressive Party, APC, Bola Tinubu had visited the Former President Goodluck Jonathan on a consultation ground.
Our heritage reporter Nigeria learnt that details of the closed door meeting on Tuesday night in Abuja reveals that Tinubu formally told Jonathan about his Presidential ambition and sought his support.
Both leaders also discussed widely on various national issues and the forthcoming general elections.
However, it was not yet clear if the Jonathan is willing to support the former Lagos State governor, but speaking from the outcome of the meeting, both leaders were happy to see each other.
“Truly, he (Jonathan) is at home with us. He was very receptive. You know the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) no longer accorded him that respect.”
“He is more comfortable with us. He was happy that Asiwaju visited him. He is at home with his aspirations.”
Present in the meeting include: Tinibu’s his vice, Kashim Shettima and five other APC Governors namely; The Governor of Plateau State and director-general campaign council, Simon Lalong, Ogun state governor, Dapo Abiodun, Zamfara State governor, Bello Matawale, Jigawa State governor, Abubakar Badaru and Kwara state governor, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq.
