DEATH IS A LEVELLER – Pastor Isaac Olutimehin
TEXT:
Exodus 1:6 KJV.
“And Joseph died, and all his brethren, and all that generation”.
*MESSAGE:*
☆☆☆ When I first read this verse of the bible, I had to read it over and over again for a better understanding.
☆☆☆ Joseph died and all his brethren. Even his brethren who tried to stop him from fulfilling his destiny; also died!!
☆☆☆ The entire generation equally died. Just one verse of the scripture, ended everything about that generation.
☆☆☆ Beloved, is there any need for you to rebel against your brother?
☆☆☆ That sister who you have vowed never to forgive, tell me what you stand to lose if you forgive her.
☆☆☆ You, head of department, who is blocking the promotion of your subordinates and also sitting on their entitlements, remember: *Joseph died, his brethren and all that generation.*
☆☆☆ This short message is not to frighten anyone but don’t you think it’s possible to live at peace with everyone!!
☆☆☆ Beloved, if it’s not possible to live in peace with your brother and even with your enemy, the bible wouldn’t have encouraged us to do so.
“Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord” – Hebrews 12:14.
☆☆☆ *”Follow peace with all men”:* including those who hate you, without any just cause.
☆☆☆ Beloved, the more a man loves and obeys the commandment of God, the more easier for him to relate with others peacefully.
☆☆☆ When you are at peace with God and your way pleases God, he will compel even the wicked to love you.
“When a man’s ways please the Lord, he maketh even his enemies to be at peace with him” – Proverbs 16:7.
☆☆☆ Beloved, what will you be remembered for when you depart this world? The troubles you caused or the solutions you gave to people’s challenges?
☆☆☆ However, remember what the bible says 👇
“And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment” – Hebrews 9:27.
☆☆☆ Beloved, now is the time to make amends before the day of judgement.
☆☆☆ Settle with that brother or that sister, restitute your ways and let the peace of God reign in your life.
☆☆☆ Stop blocking the ways of others and allow those you oppress to go free.
☆☆☆ You will depart this world one day, those you have afflicted will surely die and all the generation you belong to.
☆☆☆ Remember, death is a leveller, no one is bigger or greater than the other in death.
☆☆☆ Whether you are rich or poor, wicked or evil, the size of your grave is equal in death.
*PRAYERS*
1. Father, grant me the grace to adjust, amend my ways and to live a purposeful life.
2. I (mention your name) Olutimehin Isaac, shall not become a tool in the hands of the devil to be used in blocking the ways of others.
3. I will not sow an evil seed that my children will live to harvest it’s proceeds.
4. Oh God my father, please help me to do my best to affect the lives of others positively.
5. My father and my creator, please don’t allow me to die with my glory.
6. I refuse to be the reason for the pains that others are experiencing.
7. Lord, you have a purpose for creating me, please let me live my life to fulfill your purpose.
✓✓ Methuselah lived for 969 years and died but he was a waste to his generation.
8. In the name of Jesus, I shall not become a waste to my generation.
9. Father, don’t allow me to become a stumbling block on the pathway of others.
10. Father, uproot from the surface of the earth, anyone blocking the fulfillment of my glory.
11. Oh Lord, let those standing against my success story become the ladder for my rising.
12. Your will and only your will Lord, shall come to pass in my life.
*PROPHETIC DECLARATIONS*
I pray for somebody out there and I decree, the Lord shall erase every grudge and bitterness from your heart.
I command the peace of God to rule your mind.
To those who are being oppressed by the task masters of this world, I decree, the same God who heard the cries of the children of Israel and sent Moses to deliver them; shall deliver you today.
To another individual I decree, may you not position yourself, as a stumbling block; on the pathway of somebody who God has destined for greatness.
Those who are standing against the will of God for your life, I decree, they shall become the instruments for your lifting in Jesus name.
To everyone out there who are yet to have an encounter with God, I decree, may you encounter Jesus before you see death in Jesus name.
To every true child of God out there, you will not trade your salvation for the delicacies of this world in Jesus name.
