The Coalition of APC support groups Imo State chapter under the leadership of Amb Prince Darlington Onwuegbu, has commended His Excellency Distinguished Senator Hope Uzodimma for his unparalleled commitment in addressing the issue of youth unemployment in Imo State.

The Chairman of Organization in the State, Amb Prince Darlington Onwuegbu affirmed that, the Governor considers the empowerment of this 15, 000 Imo youths which was drawn across the 27 local government areas of the State, who had earlier been trained by the ministry of Entrepreneurship and Skills Acquisition in various skills and trades with a cash grant of 250, 000 amounting to 4billion naira as a startup pack stressing that it is a sustainable roadmap to enhancing small and medium scale sector of the economy, which remains a critical tool for tackling unemployment rate in Imo State.
Onwuegbu, also said the excitement over the programme has given the State another face look of achievement by the “CAREFUL TALK AND DO GOVERNOR” Dist Sen Hope Uzodinma,Prince Onwuegbu insisted that the governor has remained focused and unwavering in providing leadership and direction to Imo people.
He urge the youths who are beneficiaries of this positive impact of His Excellency to be a good Ambassador of the State and to the administration of governor Hope Uzodinma. Prince Onwuegbu further charge the youths of the State to always remember the governor in prayers according to the biblical terms that says let’s always pray for those in authority.
one can recall, on the 26th day of June, 2021 at the Dan Anyiam Stadium the Governor of Imo State senator Hope Uzodimma, doled out 4billion for the Empowerment of Imo State who has under goes training in different skills for their start up business.
According to the Governor, His responsibility as the Governor of Imo State, is to create an enabling environment that can help the youths to have a great future.
“Your own duty is to play by the rules of positive engagement, and you will get there. Do not let anyone spoil your chances of getting to that great, glorious future.
I see future Presidents, Governors, and Senators in your midst. I see very successful entrepreneurs among you. I see a great future for Imo youths” Uzodimma concluded.
