BREAKING: PDP Governor increases minimum wage to N40,000
Our heritage reporter can Report that His Excellency Governor Godwin Obaseki has today increased workers minimum wage to N40,000 in Edo State.
The Governor made this known in a statement to mark this years Worker’s day.
Recall that Governor Godwin Obaseki was the first Governor in Nigeria to begin the payment of N30,000 minimum wage.
This is coming at a time, when many governors are still unable to pay the N30,000 national minimum wage to workers. Governor Godwin Obaseki has shown how remarkable his administration is.
With this increase, many Nigerians are already of the opinion that His services and brilliance may just be what Nigerians need at the national level to move the country from being the poverty capital of the world.
Apart from this increase, Governor Godwin Obaseki’s administration is known for prompt payment of workers’ salaries in the state. A feat, that many governors are unable to catch up with.
