The House of Representatives has adjourned plenary for two weeks due to the rapid spread of the deadly Coronavirus (COVID-19) across several countries.

The adjournment followed a motion moved by the House Minority Leader, Ndudi Elumelu, who suggested that parliamentary activities should be postponed for two weeks
Meanwhile, the development came less than a week after Nigeria confirmed its first case of COVID-19 in an Italian who recently travelled into the country from Italy.
