Yoruba Nation agitator, Sunday Adeyemo known more as Sunday Igboho’s ill-health has further degenerated as a new danger about the activist’s health looms.
Our heritage reporter reports that the Yoruba-born freedom agitator currently detained in neighbouring Benin Republic has allegedly been diagnosed of kidney and lungs-related diseases. His lawyers claim the agitator got the diseases from his current prison.
Our heritage reporter notes that one of Igboho’s lawyers, Yomi Aliyu, revealed the sad development in an interview with BBC Yoruba, after noting that the separatist leader developed the illness in Benin Republic prison custody.
“I can’t tell if he has been returned to the prison from the hospital but what I know is, he’s battling ill health and it seems his kidney and lungs are already being affected.
“Even though I cannot tell which part of his body the sickness has really affected, I know it has to do with his internal organs.” He said.
