The Taliban’s shadow governor for the Northern Faryab province of Afghanistan, Mawlawi Wakil Ahmad alias ‘Nazim,’ and seven others have been killed on Saturday, Police spokesman of the province, Abdul Karim Yurash said.

The police reported that they were killed, leaving three injured when their bomb exploded around 02:00 am local time in Dawlat Abad district, the official said.
The Taliban militants are yet to comment on the said report. The militants have been active in the Faryab province.
