Boniface Snubs Messi, Ronaldo, Crowns Another Player As Football’s ‘GOAT’
Bayer Leverkusen striker Victor Boniface has named Neymar as the greatest footballer of all time, bypassing global icons Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi in his ranking.
In a recent interview with Sporty TV, the Nigerian forward expressed his admiration for the Brazilian star, declaring Neymar his football idol and the best player on Earth.
While acknowledging the immense talent of Ronaldo and Messi, Boniface suggested they belong to a league of their own.
“Neymar is my football idol and G.O.A.T. Ronaldo and Messi are from different planets. On this planet, Neymar is my G.O.A.T,” Boniface said.
Neymar, currently playing for Saudi Arabian club Al-Hilal, made his move in the summer of 2023.
However, his time with the club has been plagued by injuries, limiting his appearances.
