The Chairman, Governing Council of the Federal Polytechnic, Kaura Namoda, Zamfara and the founder, MyChoice Group, Hon. Mrs. Omowunmi Olatunji- Ohwovoriole on Sunday 25th, April rolled out drums in praise to God at the Promise Land Prophetic Ministries in appreciation to God for her recent appointment.
In an emotional speech, Hon. Ohwovoriole returned all glory to God saying it is always good to wait upon the Lord and to learn the act of confusing the devil.
“I had an encounter with God on this altar and I have over time learnt to confuse the devil. When the devil does not know your area of need, he will miss the target.
There were dark moments and good moments but I am grateful that whatever I have attained today, it is just God.
This blessing is not just for me, I am a conduit for others and it is a rare privilege”, she added saying God’s word came to pass in her life at a time it appeared it was delayed.
While also using the opportunity to thank the presiding pastor of the church, Prophet Gbenga Akinbiyi for standing by her, Hon. Ohwovoriole reaffirmed God’s presence in the church saying it is based on her personal conviction.
The Chairman Governing Council of the Federal Polytechnic, Kaura, Namoda, Zamfara, Hon. Omowunmi Olatunji-Ohwovoriole who also thanked the Governor of Ondo State, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu and his wife, Mrs Betty Anyanwu- Akeredolu most especially for believing so much in women and for reposing trust in her ability, further promised to continue to live up to expectations.
“I also want to thank Dr. Kayode Fayemi, my party chairman, Hon. Ade Adetimehin, members of Ward 5 and others who have been standing by me”, she added.
Speaking with newsmen, Mr. Folorunsho Eddo, one of her brothers said the appointment is well deserved as Hon. Ohwovoriole has been of service to humanity in many capacities.
While congratulating her and also wishing her a successful tenure in office, Mr. Eddo thanked the federal government for deeming it fit to appoint her as she has left no one in doubt of her ability to deliver.
Also speaking, her sister, Mrs. Mosunmola Kayode while describing Hon. Ohwovoriole as a kind hearted woman who is passionate about impacting lives also appreciated God for elevating her saying this is a call to higher service.
One of her friends, Omowunmi Okewunmi who came all the way from Lagos to grace the occasion thanked God most especially for Hon. Ohwovoriole saying the height she has attained over the years is a testimony to the fact that she is seasoned and well grounded.
The Chairman of MyChoice Group, Pastor Kehinde Adeluwoye while also congratulating the founder of the group, Hon. Ohwovoriole said through her initiative, lives most especially that of the less privileged in the society are daily being impacted.
Also in attendance was the former SSA to the Governor on Transport, Hon. Saka Yusuf who used the opportunity to enjoin her to continue to do good and remain a team player which she has always been as the sky is the beginning of greater things to come.
