APC secretary resigns
The suspended Financial Secretary of Ilorin West APC, Hon. Arije Funsho Abdulgafar, has resigned from his position following his suspension for attending Senator Saliu Mustapha’s Albarika 1.0 empowerment programme.
He wrote:
Please accept this letter as formal notice of my resignation from my position as APC financial secretary, Ilorin west local Government effective 16th of January 2025. I appreciate the opportunities I have had while serving in this role and I am grateful for the experience and knowledge gained.
I hereby withdraw my support for your excellence Executive Governor of Kwara State, Mallam Abdulrahman Abdulrasaq. Instead, I pledge my loyalty to Senator Saliu Mustapha and I am committed to ensuring a smooth transition of my responsibilities as a member of APC.
Thank you for the opportunity to serve as financial secretary. I wish the state continued success in the future.
