The Hon. Ogunleye Rotimi Franklin “Rotex” Foundation has disbursed JAMB Forms to hundreds of students across Owo LGA in what has become an annual event in recent years.

In attendance at the program was Hon. BOT, SA Alex, Mr. Tope Imolehin, Hon. Adebayo Oke Geere, Mr. Akinrogbe, Hon. Akinrogbe Sukanmi, members of Vanguard Group and several others who also graced the occasion.

During the opening address, Mr. Akinrogbe eulogized the unwavering commitment of Hon. Rotex towards the disbursement of the JAMB forms in Ipele and across all the communities in Owo Local Government, describing him as a man with a large heart who also took every opportunity to reach out to those in need within and beyond his constituency.

Speaking at the same event, a chieftain of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), Hon. Babalola Taiwo also known as BOT, said Hon. Rotex’s determination to build a better society by developing the youths and uplifting the vulnerable people in the community and by extension the entire Owo Local Government Area as a whole ignited his passion to create a veritable platform through which the aforementioned category of citizens potentials can be meaningfully enhanced. While speaking further he made reference to his serving days as a board member of former Governor Mimiko’s administration noting that his humanitarian gesture has been duly replicated by Hon. Rotex.

Hon. Babalola Taiwo in continuation charged the beneficiaries not to relent in their pursuit of academic excellence and for them to take advantage of the platform offered by Hon. Rotex. Speaking further he enjoined them to emulate the legacy of the Rotex Foundation which according to him has proven beyond doubt that Hon. Rotex remains passionate and concerned about the general well-being of his people and that is why you will always see him making concerted efforts and striving hard at all times to put smiles on the faces of people.

Hon. Sukanmi Akinrogbe said he was glad to have witnessed the occasion of the JAMB disbursement, charging the students to reach for greater heights by reminding them that with what they are seeing today, Hon. Rotex has the love of the younger ones at heart.

Mrs. Oludaye Seun aka Super Glory, Evangelist Ayeyo Bade and Alfa Abubakri Idris, in one voice commended the efforts of Hon. Rotex which they can all see stems from his charitable heart as evidenced by the occasion of the 4th edition of JAMB disbursement program. They all enthused that Hon. Rotex whose humanitarian gestures has been widely noted and appreciated by the people before now was indeed a unique personality. They also charged all the beneficiaries to be good ambassadors of intellectual capacity and human development.

Hon.Adebayo Oke “Geere”, said I’m here today to appreciate the CEO of Rotex foundation for the opportunity given to address the students in paying a full focus on their studies and also lauded those that are present to celebrate the 4th edition.

While speaking, the National President of Ipele Students, comr.Olorunfunmi Muyiwa, who spoke at the event appreciated the unwavering commitment and contributions of hon.Rotex in the students community, on the same note, he further charged the beneficiaries to be serious with their academic pursuits.

Comr. Victor Kolawole on behalf of the beneficiaries appreciated Hon. Rotex for this year’s JAMB disbursement program. While speaking he said, “I’m here to appreciate Hon. Rotex that with his support regarding the scheme my elder brother has gained admission into the university.”

Hon. Ogunleye Rotimi Franklin aka Rotex before addressing the beneficiaries paid a minute’s silence in honour of the late Governor of Ondo State, Governor Odunayo Oluwarotimi Akeredolu SAN, CON praying for his soul to continue to rest in perfect peace.

While speaking, Hon. Rotex expressed his appreciation to God Almighty for His support & grace, despite the fact that many people were doubting the hosting of this year edition. He further disclosed that he has different programmes for all sectors of the society, including those supporting the vulnerable, aged, youths and people living with disabilities. Sequel to his speech, he noted that the JAMB disbursement program was not based on any political ambition which many believe it was. He noted that it was just one of the best ways to give back to the society and that was why he had made it necessary to organize such a program. He went on to congratulate all the beneficiaries and charged them to avoid distractions and remain focused on their academic pursuits.

Lastly, he said his interest and love for the betterment of the society remained unconditional and that was why his foundation had consistently remained on track to ensure that they keep rendering assistance to the indigenous students in and around the community. He said that just as he promised in the previous edition he has thus fulfilled his promises and that he was making a similar promise again this time around in conjunction with a Tutorial Center which will ensure that whoever scores very high marks in the JAMB exans will be rewarded.

The beneficiaries who were mainly drawn from Owo LGA received their free forms at the Missionary Baptist Church of God, Ipele.
