2 Kings 13:20 KJV.
“And Elisha died, and they buried him. And the bands of the Moabites invaded the land at the coming in of the year”.
MESSAGE
And Elisha died.
☆☆☆ That great prophet of God died!!
☆☆☆ The same man who desired and got the double portion of the anointing of God upon Elijah, his master, died!!! Read 2 Kings 2:9-15.
☆☆☆ You mean the same prophet of God who turned the bitter water of Jericho to sweet water and healed the land, died!!! Read 2 Kings 2:19-22.
☆☆☆ Prophet Elisha, who commanded the stigma of leprosy upon Naaman to be uprooted and it was so, died!!! Read 2 Kings 5:1-14.
☆☆☆ You mean the same prophet who commanded the axe head to disobey the law of gravity, died!!! Read 2 Kings 6:5-6.
☆☆☆ Prophet Elisha, who smote the soldiers, that came to arrest him, with blindness; died!!! Read 2 Kings 6:13-18.
☆☆☆ Yes, “And Elisha died”.
☆☆☆ That same prophet of God, who prophesied that there would be abundance to end the years of famine in Samaria and it was so, within 24 hours, died. Read 2 Kings 7:1-16.
☆☆☆ Beloved, this same prophet of God died but the anointing of God upon his life refused to die.
☆☆☆ He was buried and his bones brought back to life a dead soldier. Read 2 Kings 13:21.
☆☆☆ What a mighty man of God!!! What a great tool in the hand of a mighty and powerful God!!!
☆☆☆ My point for today 👇
☆☆☆ Beloved, death is no respecter of persons.
☆☆☆ The poor will die and the wealth of the rich cannot deliver him on the day of his death.
☆☆☆ The righteous will die and the wickedness of the wicked cannot save him from the clutches of death.
☆☆☆ Death is no respecter of age. The young can die while the old will not live for ever.
☆☆☆ You may be so healthy now and full of life but remember, you don’t have to be sick to die.
☆☆☆ It does not matter how short or long a man may live, death will surely come one day.
☆☆☆ Everyone of us will say bye bye to this world one day.
☆☆☆ Beloved, what is that secret sin that you have been indulging in which no one knows about? Repent today.
“For he saith, I have heard thee in a time accepted, and in the day of salvation have I succoured thee: behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation” – 2 Corinthians 6:2.
☆☆☆ Beloved, will you allow that unforgiving spirit to enter into the grave with you and stand against you on the day of judgement?
☆☆☆ No man knows when his own time will come.
☆☆☆ God has set a limit for every man and no one has ever crossed that boundary.
“Seeing his days are determined, the number of his months are with thee, thou hast appointed his bounds that he cannot pass” – Job 14:5.
☆☆☆ You don’t know the last assignment that you will be allowed to perform here on earth.
☆☆☆ My brother, my sister, why must you insist on taking that wicked decision you are about to take?
☆☆☆ Who knows if that will be the last chance you will ever have to make a difference.
☆☆☆ Don’t you think it will be nice to leave good memories behind in the heart of people?
“And Elisha died” Yes, he did.
☆☆☆ What will you be remembered for?
☆☆☆ Where will you spend eternity, hell or heaven.
☆☆☆ No man can decide this for you, the choice is yours.
PRAYERS
1. Father, please grant me the grace to amend my ways in Jesus name.
2. Open my eyes to the areas of my limitations and grant me the courage to make sincere adjustments.
3. Father, I receive abundant grace to forgive those who have hurt me in the past. Help me Lord to forgive ahead even those who will still offend me.
4. I come before the throne of mercy and I drop every excess luggage that may hinder my smooth sail with you Lord.
5. Father, in the name of Jesus, let me daily walk in thy steps and uphold me anytime I stumble.
6. Make me a shinning light Lord in the midst of the darkness pervading this world.
7. I shall not become a disgrace to the name of Jesus.
8. Father, please don’t allow my life to insult your name.
9. I shall not die unfulfilled in Jesus name.
10. My life shall fulfill the purpose God has created me here on earth to fulfill.
11. Lord Jesus, strengthen me to finish strong and finish well.
12. When I shall say bye bye to this world, please Lord, let me reign with you in glory.
PROPHETIC DECLARATIONS
I pray for a reader of this message today, may you not see death before you encounter Jesus.
The one who dies without Christ has lost the battle against death. I therefore decree and declare, you will not lose the battle against death.
On the day of death, I decree, you will not be alone.
May you receive grace to let go those things that can stand against you on the day of judgement.
May you not get to your boundary with any unresolved issues in Jesus name.
You will not die unfulfilled in Jesus name.
May your life impact and inspire others to follow the path of righteousness.
I decree and declare, you will not live a wasted life here on earth.
I prophesy, your life will become a good testimonial of how to be a true child of God.
On the day of your departure from this world, while tears may fill the eyes of your relations, may there be joy in heaven because of you.
You will not miss eternity with Christ in Jesus mighty name.
