Mr Malami was quoted thus, *“So, what I’m saying in essence, no possibility is ruled out by government in terms of ensuring the sanctity of our democratic order, in terms of ensuring that our elections in Anambra holds, and you cannot out rule possibilities inclusive of the possibility of declaration or state of emergency where it is established, in essence, that there is a failure on the part of the state government to ensure the sanctity of security of lives, properties and democratic order.*

*“So, our position as a government is this elections are going to hold and necessary security in terms of democratic order most certainly prevail for the purpose of this election.*

*“So, we resolve to have these elections. The elections are going to hold and no possibilities are ruled out in terms of ensuring the provision of security, for the purpose of the conduct of the election, as well as Anambra is concerned.”*

YAPJEN views the above threat by the AGF as the high point of desperation of the power drunk AGF to annex Anambra State, the heart of Igbo land.

*In his words, Amb Timothy Nwachukwu said ” There are worsening Insecurity challenges in Zamfara, Kastina, Kaduna, Borno along others where in some cases telecommunication has been cut off and yet, Malami did not see it as a security threat that is worthy of a state of emergency, rather he preferred to show his disdain for the south easterners by threatening to declare a state of emergency in the heart of Igbo nation under the guise of fighting insecurity.*

YAPJEN therefore calls on the AGF to declare a state of emergency over the Buhari led Federal Government for it’s failure to secure Nigeria for over six years where over 20,000 persons have been killed in Borno State, Thousands killed in Benue and other parts of the State as the Commander in Chief of the armed forces.

Yapjen further warn that no military might will be strong enough to break the collective resolve of Ndi Anambra.

Therefore, he urged the AGF to reconsider his I’ll conceived ideas and plans against the people of Anambra State.
