ALTAR VERSUS ALTAR: Pastor Isaac Olutimehin

PART 1.

In this first part, we shall be looking at the meaning of Altars and the roles of Altars in spiritual transactions.

WHAT IS AN ALTAR?

☆☆☆ In the Bible, altars are designed for sacrifices and not just for decoration.

Exodus 20:24 KJV.
“An altar of earth thou shalt make unto me, and shalt sacrifice thereon thy burnt offerings, and thy peace offerings, thy sheep, and thine oxen: in all places where I record my name I will come unto thee, and I will bless thee”.

☆☆☆ The Bible also described the various methods of constructing these altars.
☆☆☆ Some were made of sand or unhewn stones, that is, stones that have not been chiseled with any tool, and some were made of bricks.
☆☆☆ In some cases, a natural rock could automatically be turned into an altar.
☆☆☆ Altars were either constructed for God or idols.
☆☆☆ Any altar constructed for the purpose of idolatry incurred the wrath of God.

THE ROLE OF ALTARS IN SPIRITUAL TRANSACTIONS:
☆☆☆ As a bible student, you would find that the great men of God in the Old Testament built altars.
☆☆☆ This was because an altar served as a medium of communication and worship.
☆☆☆ Abraham, Noah, Joshua, Isaac, Jacob, Moses, Gideon, Samuel and David built altars.
☆☆☆ When Elijah challenged the Baal worshipers at Mount Carmel, he told them to construct their own altar and when it got to his turn, what he did was to repair the broken down altar of the Lord. Read 1 Kings 18:23-40.

☆☆☆ An altar could also be described as a place where animals are slaughtered for sacrifice, that is, a place where blood is shed and where blood cries.

☆☆☆ It is a spiritual dinning table where spirits are offered food.
☆☆☆ It is a place of spiritual bureau de change where blood is exchanged for something.
☆☆☆ It is a place where contact is made with the spirit world, and it could be with good or bad spirits.
☆☆☆ It is a place of spiritual fellowship with either clean or unclean spirits.

☆☆☆ When Jacob built an altar in Bethel, it was the angels of God who were ascending and descending on it.

Genesis 28:12 KJV
“And he dreamed, and behold a ladder set up on the earth, and the top of it reached to heaven: and behold the angels of God ascending and descending on it”.

☆☆☆ If he had built a demonic altar, there would have been the traffic of evil angels otherwise known as demons.

☆☆☆ An altar is a place where covenants are made with spiritual powers.
☆☆☆ It is also a place of deliberation, decision and action whether negative or positive.

☆☆☆ From the above description of an altar, we can see that there are positive altars as well as negative ones.
☆☆☆ For example, the cross where Jesus died was an altar of sacrifice of the Son of God.
☆☆☆ That cross therefore stood for a positive altar, which is meant for good purposes.
☆☆☆ When somebody says your prayer altar is weak, it means that your prayer life is nothing to write home about.
☆☆☆ If they say your holiness is equally weak, they are telling you that your level of holiness is not up to God’s standard.

☆☆☆ Conversely, negative altars are raised by the enemies to steal, to kill and to destroy.
☆☆☆ An altar can be raised to bless or to destroy, to promote or to pull down a person, an organization or a thing.
☆☆☆ Altars can also be raised to enhance a course or to frustrate it.

☆☆☆ In 1 Kings 13:1-5, we read the story of a king who was sacrificing by an altar and God sent a prophet who prophesied against the altar.

1. “And, behold, there came a man of God out of Judah by the word of the LORD unto Bethel: and Jeroboam stood by the altar to burn incense”

2 “And he cried against the altar in the word of the LORD, and said, O altar, altar, thus saith the LORD; Behold, a child shall be born unto the house of David, Josiah by name; and upon thee shall he offer the priests of the high places that burn incense upon thee, and men’s bones shall be burnt upon thee”.

3 “And he gave a sign the same day, saying, This is the sign which the LORD hath spoken; Behold, the altar shall be rent, and the ashes that are upon it shall be poured out”.

4 “And it came to pass, when king Jeroboam heard the saying of the man of God, which had cried against the altar in Bethel, that he put forth his hand from the altar, saying, Lay hold on him. And his hand, which he put forth against him, dried up, so that he could not pull it in again to him”.

5 “The altar also was rent, and the ashes poured out from the altar, according to the sign which the man of God had given by the word of the LORD”.

☆☆☆ There are several lessons to learn from the above verses of the bible:

1. Jeroboam stood by the altar to burn incense:
   Sacrifice can be offered on the altar to God or to satan depending on who is offering, what and how it’s being offered.
2. The man of God cried against the altar:
   It is possible to speak against satanic altars in the name of the Lord.

☆☆☆ I pray that the word of God will speak against and pull down every satanic altar raised against you in Jesus name.

3. The king stretched forth his hand from the altar against the man of God:
   Evils can be programmed against the people of God from satanic altars.

☆☆☆ By the authority of God in heaven, I decree, every evil hand stretched against your destiny from satanic altars shall wither forthwith in Jesus mighty name.

4. The altar was rent and the ashes poured out from the altar:
   Satanic altar can be completely destroyed through a prophetic utterance in the name of the Lord.

☆☆☆ I therefore prophesy against all satanic altars raised against the purpose of God for your life, they shall not perform their enterprise over your life in Jesus name.

☆☆☆ I pull such satanic altars down in Jesus mighty name.

PURPOSES OF SATANIC ALTARS:

☆☆☆ Satanic altars, whether they exist in the physical or spiritual are raised to fulfill one or more of the following purposes:

1. It is a place designed for offering sacrifices to Satan and his demons in order to appease them or to make a request for their assistance.
2. It is a place where blood is shed, either of animals or of human, and because the life of anything is in its blood.

Leviticus 17:11 KJV.
“For the life of the flesh is in the blood: and I have given it to you upon the altar to make an atonement for your souls: for it is the blood that maketh an atonement for the soul”.

There is blood crying at satanic altars.

3. It is a satanic dinning table where evil spirits and demons are served food. They can be served their usual food in order to attract their blessings upon the person offering the sacrifice, or they are given a wrong type of food on behalf of someone so that the demons can punish the person.
4. It is a place of spiritual exchange:
   At the satanic altars, they can exchange people’s glory and destiny to turn them to nonentity.

☆☆☆ There was this young lady whose brain was exchanged with stones, and she was sent out of a University due to poor academic performance. The lady was delivered by the power of God, and she was able to graduate with good result from another University.

☆☆☆ There was a case of another young man, that the enemy was able to see his shinning glory ahead and exchanged it for a man in search of fortunes.

☆☆☆ All these kind of exchanges take place at satanic altars.

5. It is a place of spiritual fellowship for demonic spirits and their agents.
   At satanic altars, people who consult evil priests and demonic people are in fellowship with demons whether they are aware of it or not.
   This is the same way the people of God at the altar of God are having a spiritual fellowship with the Spirit of God and the angels.
6. It is a place of making satanic covenants, or sealing a spiritual contract, either the people concerned are conscious of it or not.
   The only covenant we are allowed to enter into as children of God, apart from the covenant with the blood of Jesus, is the covenant of marriage that is done in God’s way and according to His principles.

☆☆☆ Any other covenant is at the satanic altars and will have evil consequences.

☆☆☆ A young lady entered into a blood covenant with a young man by taking each other’s blood as a means of assuring their loyalty to each other in marriage. The lady later met with Christ, and renounced this covenant.

7. It is a place where victims are afflicted.
   Most times, images of victims are placed on such satanic altars. Whatever evil is done to those images will begin to manifest, in the physical, in the lives of such victims.
   If those satanic agents give a blow to the head of that object representing the victim on the altar of the devil, the victim may begin to experience a chronic headache in the physical.

☆☆☆ Certificates can be cursed on such altars. Owners of such certificates or credentials placed on those satanic altars can roam the streets for years in search of jobs to no avail.

PRAYERS:

1. I collapse every demonic altar raised against my success in Jesus name.
2. Oh God my father, let your fire consume and roast all those satanic altars and their priests in Jesus mighty name.
3. I withdraw whatever represents my image from those evil altars in Jesus name.
4. Fire of God, visit my foundation and begin to reverse every evil done against my star from birth.
5. Father, destroy every altar raised against my marriage in Jesus name.
6. Father, release my glory and star from the cage of satanic altars in Jesus name.
7. Every evil voice crying against my glory, be silenced in Jesus name. PROPHETIC DECLARATIONS

☆☆☆ I speak against every evil altar manipulating your life in Jesus name.

☆☆☆ I decree and declare, your life shall not work to fulfil the dictates of demonic powers in Jesus name.

☆☆☆ Every charmed and cursed certificate, I lose you from the hold of demonic altars now in Jesus name.

☆☆☆ By the mandate and the authority of God in heaven, I withdraw your name from demonic altars in Jesus name.

☆☆☆ I silence every voice crying against your success and breakthrough from those satanic altars in Jesus name.

☆☆☆ In the order of Proverbs 26:27, I command every arrow fired from those altars, against you, to return to their senders now in Jesus mighty name.

☆☆☆ The cross of Jesus is a superior altar to that of the devil, I therefore decree, every sacrifice placed on crossroads because of you shall be crushed by the altar of the Cross in Jesus name.

☆☆☆ I curse and break every curse placed upon your life in Jesus name.

☆☆☆ Your caged destiny is set free.

☆☆☆ You will fulfil the purpose of God for your life in Jesus name.
