Ondo state Commissioner for Information and Orientation, Mr Donald Ojogo has stated that the state Governor, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu is not interested in impeaching his Deputy, Agboola Ajayi.
Ojogo made the statement at a media parley in Akure.
The commissioner also added that the Governor is in control of the state House of Assembly, contrary to insinuations from certain quarters.
According to him, Governor Akeredolu has more than twenty lawmakers in his camps.
Speaking on the controversial N4.3 billion discovered in Zenith Bank, the commissioner said the money was appropriated for in the 2019 budget
He said, “The governor is not interested in impeaching his Deputy. He is not bothered about that.
‘The governor is in charge of the assembly with over 20 lawmakers in his camp. The lawmakers have the right to investigate the executive”, he stated.
